This is an interview conducted in September 2009 with John Skinner to celebrate over 30 years on New Monasticism. John was one of the founders of Northumbria Community, and an early pioneer of New Monasticism. In this series John talks through how the journey began, key influences in his development of New Monasticism, the route of the first few, Northumbria Community’s foundation and formation, the call to Turkey, and the future of New Monasticism as he sees it.
